Teachers Policy

This policy outlines the guidelines and expectations for Teachers who provide live Teaching Services to Students on the Univext Platform. By offering Teaching Services on Univext, you agree to adhere to this policy together with the Teacher Terms. Please review these guidelines carefully before providing your Teaching Services.

Teaching Standards

As a Teacher, you are responsible for delivering high-quality live Classes that meet Univext's standards for accuracy, relevance, and educational value. You should prepare for your Classes, teach the Subject you have offered, and use teaching materials that are your own or that you are authorized to use. You must not infringe any third party's copyright or intellectual property rights in your Classes or teaching materials.

Communication and Interaction

Maintain professional and respectful communication with Students at all times. Be responsive to booking requests and Student messages in a timely manner, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for every Student, regardless of their background or ability.

Bookings and Availability

You are responsible for keeping your availability and profile information accurate and up to date so that Students can book Classes with confidence. Honor the Classes you accept, and follow the cancellation and refund rules set out in the Teacher Terms.

Conduct

Do not solicit or accept payment outside of the Univext Platform, encourage Students to take Classes off the platform, or share personal contact information for the purpose of circumventing Univext. Do not provide false or misleading information about yourself, your qualifications, or your Teaching Services.

Privacy and Data Protection

Respect Students' privacy and protect their personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Do not share a Student's personal information with third parties or use it for any purpose other than providing your Teaching Services.

Compliance with Laws

You are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including those relating to the taxation and reporting of income you earn on the Univext Platform.

Modification and Termination

Univext reserves the right to modify, update, or terminate this Teacher Policy at any time. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes. Your continued provision of Teaching Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
