You are moving to Ukraine, have family there, or have a deadline. Skip the gamified stage entirely. Daily speaking practice from week one, with grammar explained in English rather than inferred from pictures.
You were only ever going to try Babbel or Rosetta Stone. Reconsider the goal rather than the app — those two have decided Ukrainian is not a market they serve, and no amount of comparison will change that.
